"Bantu Space Odyssey" is a capsule collection based on the fictional story of "Bantu Bekindlela Mkhonazi," an African space traveler inspired by musician Muzi's track, "Bantu Space Odyssey," from his Afrovision Album. The story was conceptualized by SASH.
It's the year 2076, and Africa has been the leading nation in the universe for the past 50 years since the discovery that humans can live in space. The universe now looks to Africa for a hero. Bantu Bekindlela Mkhonazi, Commander of the Azania Space Station, Afronaut, explorer, and traveler, is sent by the Bantu on a quest into space to help save their people from DADA, the ruler of the third dimension. DADA is known as the destroyer of worlds and an enforcer of evil who lives off the culture and heritage he steals from the planets he destroys. SASH, South Africa's leading design house, has created the official gear for the nation's hero, Bantu.
