New Eclectic Releases from Africa and the Diaspora (i)

Music is the essence of our being and often serves as a unifying agent, a medium of healing and a celebratory emissary in all communities. In true weekend spirits, we scoped throughout the diaspora to bring you a selection of fresh releases from a dynamic range of artists with eclectic sounds and beasty beats. This is our first of many playlists which we will curate monthly and feature a range of new releases from African artists.

Be mesmerized by the enchanting gqom beats of FAKA and Rudeboyz ZA. Mellow out to the ethereal sounds of Buli, Kenyan Fvzzkill, Marley Bloo and Fernando. Take a trip to the genesis with the African eclectic sounds of Ghanaian Jojo Abot, Mr Bongo and Professor Rhythm. Revel to the experimental sounds tinged with hip hop of Michael Magow, Dada Shiva, Mx Blouse and Platinum Posse.

Be sure to check out FAKA, Buli From Space, Fvzzkill, Fernando and Proffessor Rhythym’s full EP’s.
