Matte Nolim Presents "MIRROR MIRROR" SS17 lookbook
Siyathemba Duma widely known as MATTE, in full MATTE NOLIM presents "MIRROR MIRROR" the lookbook for his Spring/ Summer collection which showed at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Joburg earlier this year.
The lookbook showcases the versatility of the clothes and expands on the concept "clothes don't expire". The title "Mirror Mirror" was derived from the photography editing style and because MATTE and his team want people to see themselves in the clothes.
MATTE adds "I would like to see more people wear and promote local designers. Especially now. I feel like we are living in interesting times, where designers have more power now than the retailers, purely based on the turn-around time from when the trends hit the runway to when retailers are still discussing the trends."
